Ben Franklin Cat

So it's been a busy few weeks. Survived Fantasy Fest and a lot of 60 year olds dressed as vampires and vixens - Yikes!

Moved out of my old place and am now floating until I land in my new one where ever that might be.

So I stopped by the local Ben Franklin today for some art supplies and saw this cat. It was half asleep and begging for chocolate. The lady petting it kept telling the cat it couldn't have her tootsie roll pop.

On the Search for Hot Meat

OMMMMMMMMMMmmmmmmm MOO.

Holy crap this was good.

(Lis realizing she's just another brick in the wall.)

Had a really nice day yesterday. In between painting, Lis and I went to town for supplies and a burger. She was desperately low on cigarettes and I was desperately low on chocolate. Such a good reason to go to town for a break and some MEAT! On the search for some hot meat and beer! Yum.

The drive into town is really pretty. Got to see cows, sheep and one big ass llama (the animal kind). I forgot how many good beers Colorado has. Enjoyed a nice wheat ale with my cheeseburger which was divine.

Got back to the temple post meat and beer heaven to paint a bit more. Took that pic of Lis sitting outside the temple doors while she was watching the rain and rainbows listening to Pink Floyd's the Wall. A very chill day, indeed.

Abbeth!!

My very good friends Angie and Abby are in town visiting and we've all been catching up and laughing A LOT. Cricket, Abby and I were roommates a year ago and it was the best.

Tonight we went to Louie's Upstairs for a couple bottles o wine and a little chocolate fondue.

Then took some stupid pics off the hood of Angie's car while Abby and I reminisced about how we chased a chicken out of the house one day. We were very determined not to let it poop on Cricket's bed. Mission accomplished.

We hardly knew each other at the time but together we were throwing Cricket's hats at it in a vain attempt to get it off the ceiling beams. We eventually ran it around the kitchen island and then out the door.

There's nothing quite like getting to know your new roommate by chasing a chicken.
