Smartphone Reunion 2013

Oh Toni Baloney. My good friend from ye olde Denver days was in town and we had a nice day out. She got me started on my Iphone last year on our trip to the desert and she was at it again showing me all kinds of new photo apps. 

I got app shamed. 

I think I still have the same ones she gave me last year. In my defense I had a flip phone before.

Great catching up and you know you have a good friend when you haven't seen them in a while then just pick up where you left off. 

Got to check out some turtles, have lunch on the Gulf of Mexico and catch a good set at the Parrot. 

Zach Deputy is a one man bluesy show which was quite awesome. You know its a good show when all the town shows up for it at 5:30 in the afternoon.

Yesterday was a good day. REALLY enjoying the time off. I feel like I'm already on vacation. Painted a bit, then hit yoga and got my ass kicked, followed by a great show at the Parrot.

SUENALO!

Hung out for a while at the bar with an ex-cop who since becoming an ex-cop, has grown his hair out and smokes pot. Shared half a seat with one of the bar regulars until the show got going.

When I saw Richmond dancing, had to run right over and slap his ass. RICHMOND! As a bonus, I got to see all my water job friends, dance and drink a little too much. Normally, I work weekend nights and don't get to see the great shows at the Green Parrot.

May go back for seconds tonight.

BINGO rocks!

Time to check out the Green Parrot Bingo festivities. A team effort won the four corners Bingo game of the evening and a koozie full of crap. Vodka pop rocks anyone? All of it is to benefit the MARC house so let's get it on.



The BINGO caller asked me if I wanted to help him put his balls back in the basket. Laughing, I helped him out then told him that was a great pick up line. 10 minutes later I got to hear it being used on a new lady over the mike.



Loaded and ready to blot. Upgrades to the chip.
